Italian guy on a Vespa GS

A lovely pic from days long gone. The Vespa GS 150 looks brand new with the proud italian owner on it. Not sure if it's a VS1-VS2 or VS3. It's not a VS4 or a VS5, if you go by the tail light. The picture should have been taken around 1957-1958, I guess.
Anyhow, it has lots of cool accessories; crash bar, horn cover, wheel discs front and rear and bumper!
I have the actual photo in my possession.

  1. I really enjoy your blog. Your posts are always interesting. So are your photos. Thanks for your effort!

May I make a suggestion? Please post your photos in higher resolution! The photographs usually illustrate the main point of your post, and unfortunately, are always in a very miserly resolution. This post, for example, is actually *about* a photograph. Unfortunately the explanation is more valuable than the associated photo, because the very interesting detail that is supposedly contained in the photo isn't possible to see in its presented resolution.

Surely your original photographs are available in a higher resolution, so why not use them? If you're afraid of copyright infringement, then why not watermark?

Anyway, it's your blog and your photos, but my opinion is that this blog would be much improved by high-resolution photos. To be blunt, <500 pixel resolution is pretty pathetic...

    Cheers
