Lovely Lambretta series 1

Found this on the Internet, asked if I could publish but never heard anything. If the Italian owner is objecting to my publishing I will remove it.
As I remember it he is the young guy in the picture visiting his grandfather and his Lambretta series 1, in the mid-sixties. According to the floor rails it's either a Li 150 or a 125. The TV 175 was and is rather scarce in Italy.
The rope on the front shield is holding a hammer! A workhorse instead of a showpiece...
There is also some stickers, saying "1000 luci" and "Tartaruga". The latter beeing italian for tortoise, well it wasn't that slow I hope.

My three Vespa PX's

The big Perego with the smaller version on the saddle.

Here my three Vespa PX! Small one and made of plastic. Per i bambini, for the kids. Of any age?
The big one is made by the italian firm Perego, still in business today and with contemporary Vespa models like GT.
Mine is a PX200 for children 3-6 years, driven by a 12V battery located under the saddle. No, I haven't tried it yet.
The small one on the saddle has no name of the manufacturer. Anyone who knows?
The Pitti came with the original box. The same size, 1:6, as the smaller one but driven by small batteries in a box with a cord.
Okay, they're no La Hotte S:t Nicholas, but still nice!

The "Pitti" from the maker Ellegi.

The smaller one again, I think it is about 1:6.

The cable control to the Pitti.

View over the handle bars of the 1:6 toy Vespa.

The original box to the Pitti.

The big one with "speakers and cassette player".

The "big" Perego.

The side of the Pitti-box.

Something missing? A speedo sticker perhaps.

Vespa SS180 with finnish!

This is my 1967 Vespa SS 180, bought in april 2013. After the purchase I mounted the tank and repaired the lamp housing with metallic glue, rewired it and changed the saddle. It started nicely but after a couple of starts the piston rings gave up. I ordered new ones and a Ken Cobbing-replica exhaust from SIP.
A lot of other things happened, a Cosa, a VGL, and so on...
Now I'm giving it some tender loving care again. The piston rings are mounted and the compression is healthy again. I have also replaced the kick lever since the splines were worn.
Looking forward to try it in better weather conditions!
I will keep it as is. It has a lot of cool period stickers. It was sold new in Helsinki, the capital of Finland and later it went to Åland, the archipelago between Sweden and Finland.
One of the cool stickers are from 1973 Pori Jazz Festival, where Keith Jarrett, Jukka Tolonen, Nanni Porres, Tasavallan Presidenti and more were among the performing artists that year.

Something about Jesus Christ.

"For race only", he he. Ken Cobbing replica from SIP.

Great scooter rideout!

Some friends on Vespas and one Lambretta during The Visby Vespa Club summer rideout on the island of Gotland. It's my red Cosa far away in the picture. Later there was a gymkhana and it ended with a dinner.

At the local "brewery"...

Young son on Vespa PK 50 XL

Here's my middle son, 16 years, riding a scooter for the first time. Almost legally...
Earlier you only had to be 15 years old to drive 50 cc moped in Sweden. Nowadays it's compulsory to have a license that will set you back about €500!
These pictures are taken near our country house, practically no traffic at all.
Doesn't he look happy on the Vespa PK 50 XL?

One more for the road?

Okay, it's been a while. Maybe this is a new beginning or not...
This is my recently bought Vespa V50N, according to Scooterhelp a 1967 model. Everything is there except the the front light housing and handlebar cover. It's body is actually straight and nice, the rust (ruggine) is only on the surface.

The 1973 Vespa 50 R

This is the Vespa 50 from 1973 that my oldest son got from on his 15th birthday. Two years after that it went to his cousin when she became 15. Now it's back with me. My middle son will try it this summer at our summer house. The regulations here in Sweden has become harsher. Now a 500 euro license is required even for these old mopeds, maximum speed 30 kph (this one reaches 39, ti-hi).
